Terms of Service
Kutscene is provided "as is" without warranty. You are responsible for the content you upload or process.
Processing paths
- Browser-local processing covers local file editing, local transcription/captions where available, and free local MP4 exports that download to your device.
- Server-assisted import is a signed-in fallback for owned-video links or supported providers such as Google Drive when browser-direct import is blocked. It fetches and streams the selected file through Kutscene servers and is not browser-local.
- Free/sponsored Groq cloud AI may be offered for script writing, copywriting, or scene description. Groq cloud AI sends the needed prompts, transcript snippets, scene labels, or selected frames to a cloud provider.
- Paid OpenAI/cloud AI features, including transcription, voiceover, B-roll, inpaint, upscale, translate, and lip-sync, use cloud providers and may require credits.
- Server render uploads selected clips and export inputs so Kutscene can render the MP4 on a server.
- Pro sync stores project metadata such as edits, captions, settings, history, and thumbnails for cross-device restore. Source video files stay local unless you choose a server-assisted import, shareable export, server render, or another cloud feature.
Credits
Credits never expire. Credit-based features reserve credits before processing and refund on failure when the product flow says the request is refundable. Free local exports stay free.
Acceptable use
Do not use Kutscene for unlawful, harmful, or abusive content or activity. Only upload, import, process, or share video that you own or have rights to edit and distribute.
Retention & deletion
Shareable exports expire and are removed automatically. You can delete exports and projects from your dashboard at any time. For details, see the Privacy Policy and Security pages.
