Free features

Your video never uploads for free features (scene detection, split, trim, export, and local transcription).
Processing happens in your browser using FFmpeg WASM and Transformers.js.

Cloud features

If you enable cloud features (Pro sync, shareable exports, or cloud AI), the app will upload the files required to provide those features.
Credit-gated cloud AI uses third-party providers (e.g., OpenAI) when configured.
Cloud sync stores project metadata (scene timings, captions, edit settings). Source video files stay on your device unless you upload them as shareable exports or for server-side rendering.

Retention

Shareable exports: stored in cloud storage until expiry. Default is 7 days on Free. Pro exports default to 30 days and can be set to 7, 30, 90, or never. You can delete exports earlier from your dashboard.
Server-side render inputs: stored temporarily to process your render job and removed shortly after completion (plus periodic cleanup and storage lifecycle rules).
Cloud sync metadata: stored until you delete the project, unsync it, or delete your account.
Diagnostics/support submissions: retained as needed to respond and improve reliability.

Deletion

You can delete exports, projects, and your account from the dashboard. If you need help removing a shared export (for example, you no longer have access to the account), contact support with the share URL.

Analytics

We aim to use privacy-respecting analytics (Plausible) and do not collect video content analytics.
